This smiley Shark quilt pattern was created for a customer, and is made specifically for a twin bed with the Shark image covering the entire top of a twin mattress 39×75 and then is bordered for desired overhang 63×85 as shown. That can be adjusted for more of less overhang.

This is the favorite of my water creatures. Very popular with young boys. I do have different Shark in the 3 size option, and a pillowcase pattern as well.

The shaping is done with quick corner triangles, or the snowball method, using a square with a sew line corner to corner sewn on top of another square or rectangle to make a half square triangle.
