I have been wanting tomake an exploding flower garden for some time and show off how to use my new Nested Petal Templates (10 in and 5in) that I created for Cabin in the Woods Quilters. I chose to use some FQ exchange fabrics that my sewing circle has been exchanging for about 6 years. How best to put all your fabrics together than in a scrap quilt. The possibilities are endless. I chose to make petals in various sizes and offset all the colors on a gray background. You could make your flowers out of various colors and make them overlap each other. The paper templates are provided.
